It is no surprise that prescriptions for anti-anxiety meds rose 34% and anti-depressants rose 18% since mid-February as shown by this recent study, America’s State of Mind Report. Prescription drugs to treat mental health conditions are on the rise— which inspired me to highlight some natural supplements that assist your brain in serotonin production and balancing hormones.
I have learned the hard way that a chemical imbalance cannot be treated by popping a pill/pills alone. True health and wellness comes from the food you eat, the way you move/challenge your body, the material you feed your mind, and the relationships you keep.
